Went back and caught Blimp the Drifloon. Also caught Queen the combee after painstakingly waiting on a honey tree. Defeated gardenia easily.

Update:
Finally had some time to get back to the grind! Caught Vampa the zubat. Went and got the soothe bell and grinded him up to crobat. Deafeated Maylene. Vampa took care of her first two and Drago took down Lucario. Defeated Wake. Drago took care of his Gyarados, Queen took down quagsire, and Drago took down Floatzel.
