Season's greetings! The winter months are nearly upon us, which means it's time for another installment of the annual Marriland Forums Secret Santa tradition!

What is a Secret Santa?
This event is an anonymous gift exchange! Everyone who signs up will be secretly given the name of one other participant, and it's your job to make a present for them! Everyone makes a gift, everyone receives a gift, and everything has the element of surprise!

What can I send?
Anything you want! A drawing, painting, poem, story, audio clip, video, a Pokémon you bred...the sky's the limit! (And if you find a way to actually send someone the sky, I'll be very impressed.) The only condition is that your gift must follow the Forum Rules!

If you sign up for this, please do your absolute best to fulfill your commitment! I will provide backup gifts in an emergency but it's much more fun for all the Secret Santas to share the adventure together!

Sign-Ups
If you'd like to participate, just let me know by posting in this thread! Signups will be open for three weeks: from now until December 6th. When you post, please include which Pokémon games you have. Once all the participants have joined, I'll send each of you a PM with the name of the person you'll make a gift for! Send the gifts back to me in the PM I will send you, NOT to the person the gift is for! If you're planning on sending a Pokémon or something of that nature, I or another staff member will arrange a time to trade with you.

The deadline for sending in your gifts is December 24th! Timezones are weird so I won't be picky. On Christmas Day (December 25th) I will post all the gifts anonymously and you'll be free to reveal which one you made, if you like!

You have been a wonderful part of this community for a long time. You are a kind, friendly, and compassionate person, I am glad I’ve gotten to know you, even if it’s simply through an online forum where people talk about Pokemon cuz we’re all absolute nerds. Your kindness and warmth never fails to bring a smile to my face and brighten my day.
You art is absolutely stunning, and your dedication to your craft is impressive. Seeing your art evolve through the years has been inspiring. I’m always amazed at the quality of your art, and the time and dedication you must put into even the simplest sketches is impressive.

You're a wonderful person and I'm so happy I've been able meet you online. I would gladly call you a friend.

For anyone who received a Pokémon as a gift, you will need to coordinate a time with Christy @theDINOsaurus to trade for it. She's been a tremendous help to me since I don't own a Switch or any Gen 8 games!
