Jesus: "I still don't know what baka means! Stop calling me a baka!"

Hansen smiled as he listened to the two bicker, but his attention was on the furniture in the apartment. He looked around the room, searching for things of interest. "So, how long have you two been grooming Pokémon?"

Hope: "I've been doing it since graduation!"
Akira : "I just live here.."
Hope:"And stuff your mouth and add pictures to you Senpai Shrine"
Jesus: "Cuse me?"

"A Senpai Shrine?" Hansen tilted his head. "I've never heard of that before. Please, tell me more," he asked, leaning in slightly.

Hope: "Just a shrine dedicated to a certain Black and Purple hair boy..."
Akira "You have a crush on that baka too!"
Jesus: "Hol' up..."

Hansen quickly leaned back with an "oh," casting an uncomfortable glance at Jesus as he braced himself for the tsunami of awkwardness that was about to come crashing down.

Hansen watched with mouth agape, unsure of how to act. Jesus was making strange sounds but Hansen wasn't sure whether this was normal or not since neither girl seemed to notice.

Jesus "Well H I say we move on now! Don't you agree?"
Jesus backs up very uncomfortably

"One hundred percent," Hansen affirmed, positioning himself so that Jesus was shielding him from the two girls.

Jesus: "WELL UHHH I GUESS I'LL GUESS I'LL SEE YOU TWO LATER!!! BYE!!!!"

Hansen made no attempt at saying goodbye as he hastily followed Jesus out of the apartment. Hope and Akira were likely too preoccupied to notice, or so he reasoned anyway.

Once they were back in the safety of the street, Hansen turned to Jesus. "Are your friends usually so..." He paused, searching for a more polite word. "Excitable?"

"It's been a few years, they used to be carefree but recently they've been... acting odd, blushing constantly, stuttering, and more..." Jesus walks Hansen to Mt Bronz so they can head to the next town

Hansen nodded in response as he walked alongside him. "How old are they?" he asked, then suddenly realized how little he knew about Jesus Soulki. "How old are you?"

"I'm 15,same as Akira and Hope!"

Hansen perked up at the statement of their age. "I'm 15 too!"

It seemed like a silly thing to be delighted by, but learning that your compatriots were the same age as you always seemed to produce such an effect. "Anyway, it sounds like your old pals might be experiencing what the adults call 'puberty.' Still, it doesn't hold a candle to what Pokémon go through as they grow older," he chuckled. He began to silently ponder why Pokémon underwent the process of evolution and whether it was comparable to puberty in humans.

"Guess yer right... Just hope my nightmare won't come true..." Jesus lifts his hoodie down "Let's catch you a pokemon! there are plenty in this mountain!"

Hansen was intrigued but it seemed like a sensitive subject to Jesus, so he remained silent until they reached the foot of Mt Bronz.

He laughed incredulously at the other boy's idea before looking to the sky contemplatively. "I think I'll stick with one Pokémon at a time, at least for the time being. I just got Bulbos and I still have so much to learn about being a trainer. I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, you know?" He smiled at Jesus, for as opposed to the suggestion as he was, he was grateful to have a friend by his side.

"I'm not particularly interested in taking on the gym challenge. My dream is to travel around the world."
