Prom Mad Libs Mad libs are fill-in-the-blank stories that need just a little help to be completed. Participants be provided a list of general prompts. Select a word or phrase that fits each one, send the list back to me, and see how your own prom story unfolds!
Prompts will be sent out on the 5th via PM. You will then have several days to make your selections and reply back to me. The completed stories will be released on the 10th, at which point the community will be able to vote on which one they enjoyed most and other silly awards. Voting for your own story will be allowed, just be sure it’s actually your favorite.
To sign up, just post indicating your interest! If your partner will be participating, please include their username as well.
Some things to note:
If you have a date, the two of you will be filling out one story together. I will send the PM to both of you, and you can make your selections together however you like.
If you’re flying solo, you’re still more than welcome to participate!
Please be prudent when filling in the blanks. Don’t choose any words that would go against the Marriland rules.
Don’t think too hard; just have fun with it!
Timeline:
2/5 - Prompts will be sent out to participants around midnight. Users can continue to sign up throughout the submission period and will receive their PMs as soon as possible.
2/10 - Submissions will close around 3 pm CST. This is a soft deadline due to my work schedule; I will continue to accept submissions until the results have been posted. However, it would be best to plan to get them in before this time! Voting for awards will begin around the same time the results are released and continue until midnight on the 14th.
2/14 - Awards will be announced!
