2/10. Yeah. I'm not a fan of Unfeazant. It's the worst version of an early bird Pokemon. It has a poor movepool, bad stats, and is just boring design wise. The only interesting thing about its line is that Tranquill's shiny is neon green for some weird reason.
5/10 for Falinks. At least it's unique, I suppose, but it's just a little bit too strange in my opinion. I'm also still mad it's not Bug-type since its sprite looks like a Wurmple with the colors backwards.
6/10 I like Beartic. It's a bit of a generic design. Polar Bear with icy beard. Cubchoo has a super cute and much more interesting design, imo, but Beartic is pretty cool. Definitely a good pure ice type.
4/10 Sadly I don't find much to love about Eiscue. Its design isn't particularly appealing in my opinion and its gimmick usually crosses the line into being plain annoying. Especially when battling against it.
Ferroseed's in a weird spot for me. I really have no strong views on this thing one way or the other at all. It's kind of a pain in competitive battling and I wish it had a more useful level-up moveset, but its typing is fun and its design isn't bad.
5/10 Runerigus looks cool and feels like a more natural evolution to Yamask than Cofagrigus, but IDK Cofagrigus was a proper Unova classic and I don't really like the idea of erasing it from the game in favor of the new guy.
8/10 I really like the Drifloon line. Drifblim has a cool design, a crazy bright yellow shiny, and some really good type coverage. I just wish it had better stats.
It has a similar problem to Copperajah. Really high HP, but crap defenses.
I guess its Halloween in May so how about Jellicent? ?
8/10. I didn't know what to think of them at first when BW came out, but after playing B2W2 and having them on my team, I grew to like them. It has nice resistances and makes for a good special wall. I wish it had a little more offensive presence, though.
