Soo.. hmm.. assuming you were to buy Sword/Shield based on the dragon exclusives from previous gens, which would you get?
Sword, I reckon. I'm just choosing on a whim, though.

Btw, when was the main thread last time updated again? :thonkazurill:

Otherwise known as the mo-o's. Which turns into moo. Which is the noise a cow makes. 🐄

So guys, just got the results back from getting my dog DNA tested. When we got him we were told he was pure bred Chihuahua, when he grew too big we knew he wasn't pure bred. He is about 70% Chihuahua and has Parsons Russell Terrier in him and Jack Russell Terrier.

@SAF Welcome to the club! I'm sorry that it took a bit long, but I'm currently on my vacation so I'm not often on the internet.

I'm also slowly working on the shop and expect it coming in mid-August.

Regarding Sword & Shield, I would get Sword because Deino. 8D

Aw. Did you pay more for him for supposedly being pure-bred?

Nice! Thinking about it, a shop sounds like a nice addition. How are your vacations going? And yeah, I like Hydreigon though I've never used one.

Ooh that's a tough choice. I like Goodra and I love Hydreigon. But I like blue far more than red, so I'll stay the course with Sword. A friend might get Shield or my brother will buy it.

@Mystical yeah we did pay a bit extra for him unfortunately but we don't actually mind that he's a mix, means he's healthier. We love him like crazy too so would never replace him for a pure bred, he's crazy smart and such an adorable spaz.
Chihuahuas get such a bad rep but it's mainly from people treating them like accessories, when trained like a normal dog and properly socialised they are great.
Actually that's the main issue with small dogs in general, people don't put in as much effort to train them and it really shows.

Small dogs are cursed. I had one when I was little and as cute as he was, it was nothing but torment. He barked every 5 seconds, chewed everything I owned, and just didn’t listen to us at any point. I remember he went to town on my original Diamond cartridge one time: I still have it and it still works, but it’s a conplete mess.

Basically cats are better pets

Once again that sounds like a lack of training, dogs without a purpose get bored. Our Chihuahua only barks if something is wrong, he loves other dogs and is really well behaved. He doesn't chew anything he isn't supposed to, he plays fetch, he knows a bunch of commands like sit, drop, stay, shake, hi five, spin. He even waits to eat his food til we say "go"..... it took effort to train him but it was worth it, i'm currently teaching him how to go over jumps, eventually I'll build him a little course.

Chihuahuas are adorable. That said I personally hold the belief that all canines of all sizes, non-domesticated included, are absolutely adorable. I'd probably try to hug a three headed giant hellhound if it existed. I suspect my love of canines overrules my sense of self-preservation and therefore I should not be left alone with wolves, coyotes, dingos, foxes, or any other non-domesticated canines/canids for my own continued well being.

@Biohazard Yush, Hydreigons are on my top twenty five. I forget the exact spot, though.

@Wolf That sounds cute! My schnauzer dog Maya obeys when talked to firmly. She loves company and jumping. And I agree one can train dogs and not all breeds of dog are the same.

I kind of agree with you Godot! xD Except I'm more cautious of them now than I used to be when I was younger.

One of my dad's former vets (or something?) apparently liked to say "there aren't bad dogs, just bad dog owners."

Which is actually probably not 100% true, I've got some neighbors who are pretty good at having dogs and yet one of theirs is just something out of a completely different dimension. Just the same as some people, I guess.

There are also bad cat owners.
I know someone that bought a pure-breed cat from an backyard breeder (which is bad by itself) when the cat was way too young and still needed it's mother.
First he was surprised that the cat was scared of everything and didn't want to be touched (duh, it was scared).
Now that the cat is older he refuses to neuter it and complains that it's a "bad cat" - since it's peeing everywhere around the house (which is normal for adult male cats).
