Here's a brief excerpt of this update:
How’s it goin’, everyone? Marriland here! And that’s right, after a hiatus of over three years, the Marriland website has been updated and is gearing up for an exciting year!

If you’re wondering what happened to all of the old content, unfortunately it is no longer a part of the Marriland website at this time, but my goal is to rebuild the site into a fun and helpful resource that will help Pokémon fans all over.

You can find out more about my plans for the Marriland website by reading the detailed Marriland Development Roadmap, which outlines the features in the pipeline through the rest of the year, including returning features such as the Marriland Team Builder, the Pokédex, and helpful Walkthroughs.

In the meanwhile, I’ll be sharing Pokémon News updates as well as other site-related updates, so be sure to check back often for more content!

If you haven’t done so already, be sure to follow me, Marriland, on social media! You can find me on Twitter, Facebook, and even Instagram (although I definitely need to work more on that last one).

I hope you’re looking forward to an awesome 2019 here on the Marriland website!

Is there a possibility that you might have some of us helping out with the website? For example, I see that a beginner's guide is something you're working on. If I wanted to help with that in particular, could I?

Yes, that is a possibility in the future. It would involve a bit of a vetting process to ensure quality and the understanding that guides may be edited or updated in the future, as well as a few other things, but this is something that could be possible in the future. However, I'm not currently looking to have a lot of staff members for the site and would currently like to do most of the writing myself until I've got a grasp of what sort of style guidelines to pass along to contributors.
